The crane outrigger pads is composed of a plate-shaped pad and a carrying rope. The backing plate body is molded by UHMWPE material.   1. Impact resistance. The impact strength of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene is related to its molecular weight, and as the molecular weight increases, the impact strength increases.
  2. Good chemical resistance. In addition to concentrated nitric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid, it is not corroded in all alkali and acid, and can be applied in concentrated hydrochloric acid at 80 °C, and stable in <20% nitric acid and <75% sulfuric acid. It is also very stable to water and liquid washing.
  3. Low water absorption. The uhmwpe crane outrigger pads has a very low water absorption rate, it is almost non-absorbent, does not swell in water, and is much less absorbent than nylon.
  4. Thermal performance. According to the ASTM method, the heat distortion temperature is 85oC, and under a small load, the use temperature can reach 90oC. In special cases, it can be used at higher temperatures, because UHMWPE is a kind of toughness. Good material, so its low resistance is also very good, still has a certain ductility at -269oC low temperature, without signs of brittle fracture.
  5. Non-toxic. It is odorless, non-toxic, odorless, non-corrosive, physiologically and physiologically adaptable. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) allow it to be used in contact with food and medicine.
